Express Imaging Systems, LLC Finalizes Asset Purchase Agreement


(SEATTLE, WA) Express Imaging Systems, LLC a leading developer of digital imaging technology and solutions for the photo processing industry, announced today that it has closed the agreement to purchase the assets of the Seattle Operations from Digital Now Inc. As a part of the agreement, Express Imaging Systems will provide customer support, enhancements and new development for the ExpressScan™ line of high-speed film scanners as well as other legacy “Express” products. Express Imaging Systems will sell and support its products directly in North America and in collaboration with Digital Now in other parts of the world. Express Imaging Systems will also distribute and support other Digital Now products in North America.

Keith Miller, President of Express Imaging Systems commented, "We are excited to engage with our customers again and work with them to define and implement innovative solutions.”

The ExpressScan™, a high volume 35mm and APS film scanner, is capable of scanning approximately 5,000 frames per hour at 4 Base. Future versions, available in the near future, will be capable of 16 Base resolution and more than 10,000 frames per hour.
