(SEATTLE, WA) Express Imaging Systems, LLC a leading developer of digital imaging technology and solutions for the photo processing industry, announced today that it has a new product in the ExpressScan™ line of high speed film scanners available for Lab Trials.

The ExpressScan™ 8B/12000, a high volume 35mm and APS film scanner, is capable of scanning approximately 12,000 frames per hour at an image size of 2250 x 1500. The system will be offered as a new unit or as an upgrade to existing ExpressScan™ units. In addition to the hardware platform, Express Imaging Systems also offers quality management software, using CaptureSmart™ and Color Match™ technology; workflow software, and output modules to complete the system integration.

Keith Miller, President of Express Imaging Systems commented, "This product represents a major step in enabling digital printing for the Digital Lab of the Future in both the wholesale and retail environments.”

Express Imaging Systems will be demonstrating the new system at the Photokina Show in Cologne Germany September 25th – 30th in Hall 9.2 Booth 039.
