SEATTLE – January 29, 2008 – Express Imaging Systems (EIS), LLC, announces the release of a VSP Integration Kit for the Europa 15 high speed digital printer. Using the VSP Integration Kit, the Europa 15 can direct dock to a VSP 50 high speed photo paper processor.
The Europa 15 is the newest member of the Europa family of high speed RA4 digital printers. Capable of 15,000 pph (prints per hour) the Europa 15 keeps pace with the VSP (Variable Speed Processor) 50 paper processor. The VSP 50 paper processor has two independent paper tracks, accommodating two Europa 15. Attaching a Europa 15 to a VSP paper processor using the kit could save an estimated 30,000 cassette changes per year, says EIS.
The VSP Integration Kit will consist of a software/firmware upgrade package, new internal cabling and circuit board. The VSP Integration Kit can be installed at the factory or by an EIS field service technician; no structural changes are required.
