September 2, 2008 Seattle, WA –In a move to strengthen its commitment to the European photofinishing market, Express Imaging Systems, LLC (EIS) announces a partial acquisition of the PhotoIntel Group, making the group a subsidiary of EIS as of September 1, 2008.

The PhotoIntel Group, a UK company, became EIS’s European distributor in February, 2005. Since then, both companies have worked closely to develop sales and support strategies to benefit the European photofinishing market, says EIS.  “PhotoIntel and EIS have had a shared vision for several years. Creating a larger presence in Europe is very important to EIS. This acquisition is a natural next step in our working relationship, says Keith Miller, President and CEO of EIS. Keith Miller will take over as Manager Director of The PhotoIntel Group.

The PhotoIntel Group has been in business since 2004 and offers a range or innovative high quality photographic products on a worldwide basis.  Their mission is to provide the customer leading edge technology products to solve production and quality needs in the Photographic and Reprographic Industries.

Representatives from PhotoIntel Group and  Express Imaging Systems, LLC will be present at Photokina in Cologne, September 23-28, Hall/Stand 10.1:A010-B011.
