(Seattle, WA) Express Image Manager (EIM) workflow software
is the latest addition to a suite of products designed by
Express Imaging Systems (EIS), a leading developer of digital
imaging technology, for use in wholesale photo finishing labs.
Designed to work in conjunction with ExpressScan scanners,
EIM combines intelligent automated color correction and easily
executable manual review features with multiple product output
choices.
Express Image Manager is a flexible and efficient
solution for performing post-scanning processing of digital
orders including image adjustment: color correction, density,
rotations, deletions, and output folder generation: folder
definition, image renaming, and output control file generation.
“From one central network location, an
operator can quickly review orders and select the customer
requested product output; send files to a bank of Rimage for
CD creation, delegate work to printers, or send sample images
to a Quality Manager. Express Image Manager promotes an easy
and efficient workflow and eliminates hot spots. We’ve
seen no other application that is this powerful that remains
this easy to use,” said Keith Miller, CEO of Express
Imaging Systems.
Express Image Manager is a modular solution
and can be customized depending on specific workflow requirements.
One session of Express Image Manager can support image input
and output for multiple scanners. EIM can also be configured
to work with images delivered to the lab via the Internet,
CD, or email.
